I admit it, I’ve stopped watching ABC’s Lost. Season four left me so frustrated, I couldn’t take it anymore. Television’s supposed to be enjoyable, I told myself, and when I watch this show all I want to do is throw something pointy at J.J. Abrams for letting what could have been a great thing get ruined. My family continues to insist that season five is different; we’re getting answers supposedly, and they want me to watch, but I can’t bring myself to.

So, all you Lost devotees, is season five different? It takes a whole lot to put me off a show, (I sat through Heroes‘ utterly abysmal season two after all, and I’m still clining to the hope Without a Trace can get it together) but I feel like I’ve given Lost too many chances, and they’ve disappointed me every time. Despite all that though, I still love the characters and a part of me wants to know what happens to them. Maybe. Possibly. Or maybe I’ll just read the episode recaps online. What do you think?
